This is original cast brass nautical light has hundreds of used. Originally designed to hang from the ceiling, I have seen them also wall mounted. I have added the deflector cover to this example. The deflector cover is all brass and measures about 7 inches wide. I have also plugged the original holes for the in and out electrical conduit and now the electrical wired enter from the back side to allow for all the wires to be hidden. I have pulled hundreds of these lights from different vessels in the salvage yards and they are almost always painted. I have removed the paint and polished the brass. This light has also been rewired and a new 110-120 volt UL Listed bulb fixture has been installed. A normal house bulb of 60 watts or less works perfect in this light. This light measures 7 inches tall. The deflector cover is about 7 inches wide. The brass cage and glass globe unscrew as one piece to provide easy access for bulb change out. The two mount holes on the base are 3 1/2 inches on center.

This is one of my custom hanging pendant lights. I started out with an original cast brass nautical light that was designed to mount direct to the ceiling. The original light measured 8 inches tall. The first thing we did was to sand blast off all the old paint and then polish the brass. Next I added the 7 inch brass deflector cover, it is attached to the globe cage and can be removed if you do not like this option. Next I installed the hanging chain using the four original mount holes on the base of the light. Four sections of chain come off the light and become one piece about 6 inches about the light. The final modification on this light was replacing the electrical system. I have re-wired this light for 110-120 volts and a new UL Listed bulb fixture was added. I normal screw in house bulb of 60 watts or less will work perfect in this light. The light comes with 48 inches of hanging chain and about 6 feet of electrical wire. Changing the bulb required no tools as the globe case and glass globe each screw right on to the base of this light. This light is ready to install right out of the box, and it is a one of a kind creation!

Glass is free of any damage other than some very minor chipping on a few of the raised edges. The top cast brass lid is held in place by three wing bolts. This light measure 12 inches tall. The brass shield measures 19 inches wide. The globe area measures 9 inches tall, and 8 1/2 inches wide. This light was designed for outside use, but the uses inside the house is unlimited. This light was designed to hang from the ceiling and has three attachment points. I have re-wired this light and installed three 110-120 Volt UL Listed bulb fixtures. We found these lights being used in the engine room and common walk ways of a German working class container vessel being scrapped at a salvage yard operation. The lights measure 8 1/2 inches tall. We call this the candle stick light. This solid brass electric nautical light measures 10 1/2 inches tall. The 360 degree glass globe measures about 7 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. This light was designed for outside use, but has many applications for inside lighting also. If you plan on using this light outside in a wet location, it is best if you hang it as shown in the photo to the left. It can be used outside in the inverted position, but you must seal the base of the globe or you may get water inside the fixture. For interior applications, this light can be hung any way you want. These lights have been re-wired for 110-120 volts, and have a new UL Listed Bulb Fixture.

This is a nice little cast brass nautical light. Measures 5 3/4 inches tall. The base is 3 1/2 inches wide when measured from outside screw base to outside screw base. The globe is glass and undamaged. The cage screws to the base and hold the globe in place. I made a new cork seal that fits under the globe, so it should be water tight now. I have rewired this light and installed a new 110-120 volt fixture that holds a 15 watt bulb that can be found at Home Depot. The light is shipped with a new bulb, and is ready to install.

These lights were designed for indoor use, and should not be considered water tight. The back plate that mounts to the ceiling is tin, but the rest of the light is brass. The back plate has four mount holes. The globe is glass, and undamaged. Made for outside use, it also works well for interior lighting projects. This light measures 7 3/4 inches tall and at the widest point it measures just short of 5 inches wide. The globe is glass and undamaged. The base mounting holes are 3 1/2 inches on center. The original wiring and bulb holder has been replaced with all new  Westinghouse parts that are UL Listed for up to 250 volts. We have pulled the wires threw the original conduit hole, but we can seal this hole closed and drill a new access hole on the bottom so you can hide the wired when installed. This light will take a normal screw in house bulb of 60 watts or less. Weight of this light is about 2 1/2 pounds. These copper and brass nautical spot lights were mainly used on the bridge area to light up the work areas on the deck. While designed for outside use, they make great decor lights for the nautical interior. We added the small section of copper pipe to hide the supply wires. This light is ready to hang over your bar or table area.  As shown, the heights of the light is just short of 15 inches tall. The mount plate on the cast brass arm is 3 3/4 inches wide and has four mount holes. The front surface of the spot light measures just over 10 inches wide and has a glass cover for the bulb area.

I have re-wired this light with a 110-120 Volt UL Listed Bulb fixture, and it is ready for installation. Comes with 24 inches of extra wire.

A normal 60 watt or less house bulb works fine in this fixture.

Need a light to hang over the bar or entry way? We have taken an original cast brass passageway light and added a brass deflector cover for looks, and then added a polished brass chain. The chain and power cord are 4 feet long, so you can reduce this to fit your need. The light has been re-wired with a new UL Listed 110-120 volt bulb holder so a normal house bulb works just fine. Accessing the bulb is easy because the deflector shield, globe, and the globe cage spin off as one piece. The globe is made of defused glass and is a 360 degree globe with no damage. This light can also be used outside, and it will last forever!

This light measures 7 inches tall, and the deflector cover is also 7 inches wide.

Next we added the brass deflector cover to dress it up just a little more. Four feet of polished chain was added so you can hang this eye catching light over your table or bar. This light has been re-wired with a new 110-120 volt UL Listed Fixture. A normal house bulb of 60 watts or less will work great. This light weight just about 9 pounds, so you really do not need much of a support hook to hang it. This light can be used inside or outside, it will last forever! This light measures 10 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide, and will extend out from the mounting surface by 4 1/2 inches. It weights just under 8 pounds. It has 4 mount holes, two on each end. The glass is undamaged, but needs some additional cleaning. This light has been re-wired with a new Westinghouse UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal house bulb, or a T-10 appliance bulb. The fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. You have some different options on how to run your power source. First of all, you can run it into the original holes as shown in the photos. Second option is to plug the original hole and drill a hole on the back side to hide all the wires. The brass plug you see taped inside the light is the plug we made to cover the original hole if you want to do drill a hole in the back option.

It has 4 mount holes on the base that were intended to screw a bolt into, but these same holes can be drilled all the way into the housing so you can screw them to the wall or ceiling from inside the housing. The glass is undamaged. We have removed the old gasket on all of these lights and make a nice water tight fixture with silicone sealant. This light has been re-wired with a new Westinghouse UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal house bulb, or a T-10 appliance bulb. The fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. You have some different options on how to run your power source. First of all, you can run your power source into the original holes on the end that we have installed the new fixture. We have made brass threaded plugs to close the original holes if not used. The second is to plug the original hole and drill a hole on the back side to hide all the wires.
