This is an original nautical ship light made of cast brass. I have added the bottom mount plate and the short piece of pipe to make a stand for the light. You can add a longer section of pipe to make the light taller. Keep in mind, this light can also be hung upside down from the ceiling. The light as shown stands 11 inches tall. The top of the light measures 6 x 6 inches. The base plate is 4 inches, and the connecting pipe is a a common  1 1/4 dia. pipe. This light has been freshly re-wired and new UL Listed 110-120 Volt Bulb Fixture have been installed. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work perfect in these lights.

This original ship's light is constructed of cast brass and weights about 15 pounds. It measures 12 1/2 inches tall as shown in the photo to the left, and is 7 1/2 inches wide (not counting any of the outside wing nuts or attachment rods). It was made to mount direct to a surface with three bolts. Not being sure if the original mounting system would present problems for you, I have added on a mount plate that bolts to the light and uses a one inch wide pipe on a standard floor mount. You can remove the mounting devise I made and mount direct to your surface if this works for you, or you can use my add on system and make it taller by changing the short pipe I used. The removable threaded pipe is one inch common pipe thread.  It can be mounted as shown in the photo to the left, or it can be hung upside down from the ceiling. It was make for outside use, but we have seen many lights like this used inside and they have a great look to them. This light has now been re-wired and new UL Listed 110-120 Volt Bulb Fixture has been installed. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work perfect in this light. This is a solid cast brass nautical light that weights 20 pounds. The 360 degree glass globe is fresnel. The globe has a few very minor chips on the raised edges. This light measures 12 1/2 inches tall, 8 inches wide. This one was made by "Livemar Estribor". The globe is 6 1/2 inches tall and just short of 8 inches wide. This light was designed to mount on a threaded pipe that was fixed to the vessel. The base plate and small pipe you see on the bottom of this light were made to fit the original mounting hole. You can extend or shorten the base pipe with common parts found at any hardware store. Not shown in the photos, this light has now been re-wired and new UL Listed 110-120 Volt Bulb Fixture have been installed. This original cast brass nautical light / Port Navigation light was made by Transberg. Originally wired for 250 volts, we have freshly re-wired for 110-120 volts and a new UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal screw in house bulb has been added. This is an interesting example of the Norwegian built Tranberg light. This one was made so it could be a post mount, or a wall mount. Made of all cast brass and weights 18 pounds. This is a huge post light. Made of a combination of copper and brass, it is ready for any location. You can mount this one on a dock post, on the roof, or hang it upside down from the ceiling. This light weights 23 pounds, so you already know it is not one of those cheap repo you see listed all over the internet! Typically we see this light coming off the very large container ships. Normally these lights have four brass arms that extend off of the main housing. These arms would have 1 inch holes on the end of each one. The attachment point on the ship would have four open hooks. The light would lock onto these hooks for attachment. I have removed the arms and used the same brass to cast the three piece pipe mount you now see on the bottom of this light. This small modification makes the light more useable and has many different ways to mount it. This is one of my best sellers! This light is 18 inches tall, and 11 inches wide. You can change the center pipe on the base and make it taller or shorter.

Not shown in the photos, I have now re-wired this light and installed a new 110-120 volt UL Listed bulb fixture. Any normal house bulb will work. I drilled a hole in the base, and pulled the new wires from inside the pipe mount. The hole on the side where the old wires entered the lamp has been sealed.

Solid brass 20+ pound 360 degree Masthead designed light. The glass fresnel globe has some wear, but nothing serious. Measures 11 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide. The weather tight hatch is secured by three bolts. The base has three bolt mount and the holes measure about 4 3/4 inches on center from each other.  Keep in mind, this light can be turned upside down, and mounted to the ceiling. Inside or out, this solid brass light will last forever, and it is weather tight.

This light has now been re-wired with a new 110-120 Volt UL Listed Fixture. I have also drilled a hole in the base so the power wires can enter via the pipe base so you have no exposed wires. Ready to install!

This is an original Russell and Stoll and Company New York cast brass nautical light. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe has a few indicators of light wear, but it is in very good condition for the age. The globe is clear glass but has taken on a little purple tent from exposure to the sun for many years. As you see the light in the photos, it measures 15 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The globe is just short of 7 inches tall. The base plate is 3 1/2 inches wide and has 4 mount holes. You can make this light shorter or taller by changing the 1/2 threaded pipe between the light and the base plate. This light weights 15 pounds.

I have re-wired this light with a new 110-120 volt UL Listed bulb fixture. You can install a common house bulb or a tubular appliance (T-10) bulb will work best. Your light should not exceed 60 watts. The electrical wires enter the base inside the 1/2 inch pipe.

This is a nice cast brass Nautical Light / Ship Light. The little tag on the lid reads "B> T. Red Signal". Not sure if this light originally had a red lens or a red insert, but not it has a clear glass 360 degree fresnel globe. As shown in the attached photos this light stands right at 13 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide. The globe has a few very minor edge flakes, not cracks, and could use a little cleaning. The base mount measures 3 7/8 inches wide and has four screw holes. This light weights 16 pounds. This light has been freshly re-wired and a new 110-120 Volt UL Listed bulb fixture has been installed. A common screws in house bulb of 60 watts or less will work perfect in this light. The new wiring enters the light via the center of the base mount.

This original ship light / nautical lantern is made of solid cast brass. The globe is 360 degree glass. In the photos the globe looks a little fuzzy. The globe is really clear, but I moved it outside to get the photos and the change in temp caused the globe to get a fogged look. As you can see, we have installed three UL Listed bulb fixtures in this light. It had three when it came to us, so we just updated the wiring and fixtures like it was. This light is wired for 110-120 volts. The bulbs can be powered on one by one, or you can tie all three to one source. This light measures 13 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The mount base is 5 inches wide with three bolt holes. This light weights about 20 pounds.

The three pieces you see on the base are pieces I added to made this light mountable. This is a very nice set of original Port and Starboard nautical lights. More than likely these came from a river boat because they are constructed of cast iron. Each light weights 22 pounds and stands 15 1/2 inches tall. The Port (red) globe is in very good condition. The Starboard (blue/green) light has some chipping issues and a crack that runs from the top edge to the bottom edge. These lights were made by the Crouse-Hinds company. Both lights have been freshly re-wired for 110-120 volts and hand new UL Listed bulb fixtures that will hold a normal 60-100 watt house bulb. The base plates measure 3 3/4 inches wide and the wires enter from the center of the mount. These lights would make great dock lights!

This original cast brass ship's light was made by Transerg. It measures 13 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It is so clean that I am sure it was never installed. The screw on base was missing, so we cast a copy from another light we had from this same company. Unlike most of the lights I get, we never had to polish this one. Look how clean the inside of the light is!

Fresh wiring has been installed along with a new 110-120 UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The base mount is 3 7/8 inches wide and has four screw holes. The new wiring enters the light via the center of the base mount.
