This is an original nautical light constructed of solid cast brass. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe with light wear and a few edge chips from years at sea. This light measures just over 12  inches tall and about 8 inches wide. Weight is about 18 pounds. This is a great looking light. Keep in mind, while this light was designed and normally found mounted just like you see it in the photo to the left, this light can also hang from the ceiling. The base mount measures 5 inches wide and has three mount holes. Can be used inside or out, it will last forever and is water tight. This light has now been re-wired and new UL Listed 110-120 Volt Bulb Fixture has been installed. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work perfect in these lights.

The wires and fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. If you are using 110-120 house power, this is no problem. The new wires exit the light from the center holes in the base mount so all the wiring is hidden. You can use a normal screw in house bulb up to 100 watts. We recommend using a T-10 bulb in these lights, as this bulb gives more uniform light to the globes and allows the fresnel globe to better perform.

This set of lights can also be hung upside down from the ceiling!

This original cast brass nautical light / Port Navigation light was made by Transberg. Originally wired for 250 volts, we have freshly re-wired for 110-120 volts and a new UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal screw in house bulb has been added. This light measures 12 inches tall and about 7 inches wide. The base mount measures just short of 4 inches wide and has 4 screw holes. The base mount was missing from this light when we found it, so the base mount and short pipe are items we have cast with all brass to make this light complete.

This is an interesting example of the Norwegian built Tranberg light. This one was made so it could be a post mount, or a wall mount. Made of all cast brass and weights 18 pounds. Measures 13 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe has very little sign of wear. The base plate and small pipe you see on the bottom of this light were made to fit the original mounting hole. You can extend or shorten the base pipe with common parts found at any hardware store. Only One Pair

This is a 19 pound original cast brass masthead or anchor light. It measures 12 inches tall and about 10 inches wide. The base mount has three bolt holes that are located about 2 3/4 inches off the center of the light. After I shot the photos, I found a screw in brass plug to close off the original conduit opening on the bottom side of the light. The globe is heavy duty fresnel glass. The globe is 360 degrees and has only very minor wear. The top cover is held in place by three spin off wing nuts. The top cover opens to provide easy access to the bulb area. We have installed a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that has factory installed 6 inch wire. The wires and fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. If you are using 110-120 house power, this is no problem. The new wires exit the light from the center holes in the base mount so all the wiring is hidden. You can use a normal screw in house bulb up to 100 watts. We recommend using a T-10 bulb in these lights, as this bulb gives more uniform light to the globes and allows the fresnel globe to better perform.

As shown in the photo to the left it stands 11 1/2 inches tall. The top plate is 5 5/8 inches wide not counting the bolts. The globe is about 5 1/2  inches wide and about 4 3/4 inches tall. This is a very nice smaller version of a post mount cast brass original nautical light. This light was made by F.H. Lovell in Arlington NJ. The light stands 9 1/2 inches tall and is about 4 1/2 inches wide. The glass fresnel globe is like new. In the attached photos you will see that I removed the four nuts of the top cover to show photos of the bulb holder. After I shot the photos, I was able to get the base to unscrew, so you no longer need to have tools to change the bulb. Like most of our lights, this one has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts made by Westinghouse. All new parts are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. A normal screw in house bulb of 50 watts or less will work great in this light. The wires exit this light from inside the base plate.

The base pipe and base mount plate are galvanized iron.

Use this one inside or outside, it will last forever!

This globe has a few flake chips to the raised edges, one or two are bigger than I like to see. As shown in the photo to the left it stands just short of 11 1/2 inches tall. The top plate is 4 5/8 inches wide not counting the bolts. The globe is about 5  inches wide and about 4 1/2 inches tall. On the vessel, this type of light is mounted to a threaded pipe that is welded to the deck. I have added the iron base plate and the small section of 1 inch threaded pipe. You can change the length of the threaded pipe to make this light shorter or taller. I have re-wired this light and installed a new 110-120 UL Listed bulb fixture that will hold a normal house bulb. The power wires enter and the fixture from inside the base pipe to provide hidden access for all wires.

This light can also be hung upside down from the ceiling!

This is a matched three piece set of original nautical navigation lights. The lights are constructed of all brass and measure 17 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide. All three lights have 360 degree fresnel globes. The red and green looking light have inside removable colored globes. These globes can be removed and you have three clear colored lights. The pipe in the base can be removed a longer piece of pipe added to change the mount position. These lights were designed to mount to a post or to the vessel deck. I have had clients hang these light upside down from the ceiling. These lights were designed for outside use, but work very well for that inside project. Each light weights 20 pounds. The globes have light wear, but no cracks. The base mount measures 4 3/4 inches and have four screw holes. This set of lights has been re-wired and new 110-120 volt UL Listed bulb fixtures have been added. A normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts of less will work in these lights. I also recommend T-10 Appliance Bulbs for these lights.

This is a two piece set of matched original nautical lights. Each light stands 11 inches tall and is about 8 inches wide. Constructed of all brass, each one weighs 16 pounds. The globes are 360 degree fresnel glass and must be about 5/8 or more thick. The glass globes have minor wear, but no cracks. The base mount measures 3 7/8 inches wide. The top hatch opens with a single wing nut closure to provide easy access to the bulb. We have installed a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that has factory installed 6 inch wire. The wires and fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. If you are using 110-120 house power, this is no problem. You can use a normal screw in house bulb up to 100 watts. We recommend using a T-10 bulb in these lights, as this bulb gives more uniform light to the globes and allows the fresnel globe to better perform.

This set of lights can also be hung upside down from the ceiling!

The black dot you see in the globe on the left hand side is just a reflection of the bulb fixture.

This is an original nautical light constructed of solid cast brass. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe. The globe has one or two edge chips, but nothing serious. This light measures just over 14  inches tall and about 8 inches wide. Weight is about 19 pounds. This is a great looking light. Keep in mind, while this light was designed and normally found mounted just like you see it in the photo to the left, this light can also hang from the ceiling. The base mount measures 5 inches wide and has three mount holes. Can be used inside or out, it will last forever and is water tight. This light has now been re-wired and new UL Listed 110-120 Volt Bulb Fixture has been installed. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work perfect in these lights.

This is a solid brass post light with a 360 degree fresnel glass globe. No makers' mark found. Weight is about 12 pounds. This globe has very minor wear. As shown in the photo to the left it stands 11 1/4 inches tall. The top plate is 5 3/4 inches wide not counting the bolts. The globe is about 5 5/8  inches wide and about 4 3/4 inches tall. I have re-wired this light and installed a new 110-120 UL Listed bulb fixture that will hold a normal house bulb. The power wires enter and the fixture from inside the base pipe to provide hidden access for all wires. To access the bulb on this light, you must remove the 4 nuts on the top cover.

This light can also be hung upside down from the ceiling!

Nice original cast brass masthead light with 360 degree fresnel glass golbe. Measures 13 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Fresnel glass globe has light wear but nothing serious. Weights 16 1/2 pounds.  Base mount is 3 7/8 inches wide with 4 mount holes. All re-wired with new UL listed parts made by Westinghouse. Bulb holder takes a normal screw in bulb. Any voltage under 250 volts works!  Use this one inside or out side, it will last forever!

Most of the white stuff you see on the rope in the photos is paint.
