This is an original three piece set of nautical navigation lights from a large commercial vessel. Each light in the set measures just under 17 inches tall and weighs 12-14 pounds. All three lights have clear fresnel glass lens. The light on the left hand side of the photo has the red slide in shield on the inside of the clear lens. The right hand light has the green slide in shield on the inside of the clear lens. When you light these fixtures up with the slide in shields in place, you get a red, green, and clear (Port, Starboard, and Masthead Lights). If you slide the red and green shield to the side, you end up with three clear lights.
We have re-wired all three lights with UL-Listed parts made by Westinghouse. All parts we install are rated for up to 250 volts, so normal house voltage is no problem. Each light has an upper and lower bulb. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work great. The globes have some edge chips and need some serious cleaning and possible polishing. This light has had some skin repair to correct some abuse it suffered at sea. This 27 pound monster would like to come home with you.
We have re-wired this light with two new Westinghouse UL Listed bulb fixtures and wire rated for up to 250 volts. The bulb fixtures handle any normal screw in house bulb, and you could put 100 watt bulbs in this one with no problems. We pulled the new wire into the original holes, but one small hole in the base could hide all the wiring.
